We are excited to share that our PhD student Zvonimir Lipšinić presented his work at the IEEE International Symposium on Systems Engineering (ISSE 2025) in Paris.
His paper, titled “Towards the Application of Knowledge Graphs in Model-Based Safety Assessments,” was co-authored with Faizan Faheem, Prof. Stephan Husung and Prof. Neven Pavkovic. The contribution focuses on the first step of knowledge acquisition and structuring, introducing a method for extracting safety-relevant information from SysML models and transforming it into RDF-based Knowledge Graphs. This approach establishes the foundation for future reuse and interoperability of safety knowledge within Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments.
This collaboration highlights our ongoing efforts to advance Knowledge Graph integration in model-based system engineering workflows. We congratulate Zvonimir and our partners from Technische Universität Ilmenau on a successful presentation and inspiring discussions in Paris!
