We are thrilled to share that our PhD student, Zvonimir Lipšinić, has just completed a productive three-week research visit to the Department of Product and Systems Engineering at the Technical University Ilmenau. The visit was an important step in furthering our joint work on a research paper focused on Model-Based System Engineering and Sustainability.

Hosted by Prof. Stephan Husung, Zvonimir had the opportunity to not only contribute to the collaborative research but also gain valuable insights into the tools used at TU Ilmenau, particularly Cameo Systems Modeler. This collaboration also opened up interesting discussions that will play a key role in shaping the direction of Zvonimir’s PhD thesis.

The visit also included engaging knowledge exchange sessions with other PhD students from TU Ilmenau, Zirui Li and Faizan Faheem, exploring topics such as knowledge graphs and SysML v2. Furthermore, Zvonimir had the chance to meet with Prof. Husung and Prof. David Inkermann from TU Clausthal to discuss and explore potential research opportunities that could strengthen the collaboration between the institutions.
